After periods of volatility and uncertainty, 2024 was a remarkably positive year for stock investors.

Despite persistent geopolitical tensions, elevated inflationary pressures, and a divisive U.S. election, markets delivered a second consecutive year of double-digit returns. Inflation, while remaining above the Federal Reserve’s 2% target, slowed sufficiently to enable three rate cuts during the year.
